A Lebanese-Syrian American educator who grew up in El Paso before settling in Austin, Texas, this Spanish teacher brings a rich multilingual and multicultural background to Hill Country Middle School—the same institution where they once studied. After graduating from Westlake High School in 2010 and earning a degree in Spanish Linguistics from The University of Texas in 2014, they returned to UT to complete the UTeach Liberal Arts Program, fulfilling their dream of becoming a teacher. Raised in a trilingual environment speaking English, Arabic, and Spanish, and deeply influenced by their grandfather's emphasis on education, they now strive to instill values of hard work, integrity, and self-belief in their students, encouraging them to pursue their #metas (goals) with confidence and determination.
